Internet Stalker01
Synopsis:
Jane
Keener, a young, single, red-blooded all-American girl, like so many
newcomers to the PC world of Cyberspace, and new to the chat room
scene, gets taken in all too easily. Jane has no idea what lies ahead as
she opens the door to cybersex and experiments in the "Adult chat
rooms."
In a Manhattan bar, she meets mysterious, suave, handsome
Englishman, Josh Williams, who's not all he seems to be. After dinner
at a Lebanese restaurant, Jayne hears the waiter verbally abusing
Josh in a strange foreign language that he denies he can understand.
After leaving the restaurant, Jayne's companion is incinerated in a
car bomb explosion.
Although she's relatively unhurt, the mental anguish draws her into
the new age pickup joint, the Internet chat rooms. Jayne's
co-worker, lesbian best friend and confidante, Pearl Bernstein,
isn't all she seems either. For instance, the FBI suspects her of
being a secret Mossad agent who's "taken out" the
mysterious Josh Williams.
Ironically, it's in the "Love & Romance," rated room,
that Jayne meets Phillip H Dreedle, convicted rapist and stalker.
The stalker is relentless in his pursuit, expert in his knowledge
of technology, a computer nerd, hacker and a serial killer...
At her Greenwich Village apartment after a failed break in, she also
makes the acquaintance of good guy, Detective Harry Horowitz of the
NYPD, who watches out for her safety, and eventually proposes marriage.
Set against the majestic panorama of Manhattan's WTC, 01, this book gives
a remarkable insight into the bizarre, new world phenomenon of cyber
sex and its repercussions.
Paralleled with a topical backdrop of seething, political turmoil in
the Middle East, "The Internet Stalker" races from one
thrilling episode to another. The sudden, heart-stopping twist at
the end will leave the reader stunned and gasping for breath,
feeling like he/she's just fallen off a cliff....
