Dr
Miranda Ryan
Dr
Miranda Ryan was born twenty-seven and half years ago to Michael
and Michele Ryan. The youngest of three sisters, she was dragged
up in sunny Swindon, where she received a fully comp education.
The first Ryan ever to go university, she qualified as a doctor
from Kings College Medical school, London, at the age of 23. She
has lived and worked in London ever since and became a G.P in
April of this year.
Miranda
started writing in her spare time in 1999, and 2 years later
completed her first novel – All the S’s. The novel is based on
a holiday she had with best friend Jane in the summer of 98. She
has been the resident medical agony aunt for Mizz magazine since
April 2000 and has her own fortnightly page to assist troubled
teens.
She hopes to
expand her freelance journalism in the near future. Having
recently secured herself a literary agent, she is currently busy
working on preparing her manuscript for submission to publishers.
Future dreams – become a literary legend, bin medicine and
disappear off to a lovers/writers retreat in deepest Devon.
A synopsis, and
chapter 1, of Miranda's novel "All the S's" can be found
